The polls will be open for the general election Tuesday from 7 am to 9 pm. All participating voters will vote for federal, state and countywide races. Some townships will vote on township trustees and the voters in the city of Jefferson will elect a city council member. It is not necessary to vote in every race on the ballot; voters can skip voting in a particular by simply leaving that portion of the ballot unmarked.
Polling locations are:
- Central precinct- Clover Hall, Greene County fairgrounds, 601 E. Lincoln Way, Jefferson
- East precinct- St Brigid Parish Center, 602 Hager St East, Grand Junction
- Jefferson 1- South assembly room, courthouse, 114 N. Chestnut St, Jefferson
- Jefferson 2- Trinity Lutheran Church, 801 W. Lincoln Way, Jefferson
- Jefferson 3- Greene County Community Center, 204 W. Harrison St, Jefferson
- North precinct- Community Center, 401 Sand St, Churdan
- West precinct- Scranton city hall, 900 Eagle St, Scranton

Early ballots can be cast at the Greene County auditor’s office until Monday, Nov. 7, at 4:30 pm.
